Thousand Shades of Love 천 가지 빛깔의 사랑

Romantic Maestra Hai-Kyung Suh, the first Korean winner of the Busoni International Piano Competition (1980), returns to Carnegie Hall with music that only deepens with every year at the keyboard. 낭만의 마에스트라 서혜경, 1980년 부조니 국제 콩쿠르 한국인 최초 우승자가 연주를 거듭할수록 깊어지는 음악으로 카네기홀 무대에 섭니다.

Pianist Hai-Kyung Suh has won acclaim across four continents for her signature playing style, deeply rooted in the Russian Romantic tradition. Like few other artists before the public today, her combination of singing tone, rich color palette, and supreme virtuosity recalls the great pianists of yesteryear, from Rachmaninoff and Hofmann to Cherkassky and Bolet. 서혜경은 러시안 로맨틱 전통에 깊이 뿌리내린 시그니처 연주로 4대륙에서 갈채를 받아왔습니다. 노래하는 음색, 풍부한 색채감, 그리고 최고의 비르투오시티가 라흐마니노프와 호프만, 체르카스키와 볼레로 이어지는 옛 거장들을 떠올리게 합니다.

The outdoor poster measures 36 by 78 inches and is displayed on 57th Street for approximately two weeks before the recital. The lobby poster measures 14 by 22 inches and is displayed in the main lobby cases. Placement is first-come and limited to twelve on the Foundation poster, eight on the lobby poster and four on the outdoor poster; later applications are shown as name in text. The digital program book is published in order of application and updated continuously until the deadline, so earlier applications appear nearer the front and are seen for longer. Maestra Hai-Kyung Suh emerged on the world stage in 1980, becoming the first Korean to win the Busoni International Piano Competition. The 1985 William Petschek Award winner from The Juilliard School made her American debut at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, and in 1988, at age 28, co-hosted the Carnegie Hall Steinway 135th Anniversary Benefit Gala with David Dubal. 서혜경은 1980년 부조니 국제 콩쿨에서 한국인 최초로 우승하며 세계 무대에 등장한 피아니스트입니다. 1985년 줄리아드 William Petschek Award 수상자로 Lincoln Center Alice Tully Hall에서 미국 데뷔 후, 1988년 28세에 Carnegie Hall Steinway 135주년 기념 자선 갈라에 David Dubal과 함께 공동 진행자로 무대에 섰습니다.

She recorded the complete Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky concertos in Russia and released albums on Deutsche Grammophon, performing alongside Charles Dutoit, Riccardo Muti, and Ivan Fischer.
