Romantic Maestra Hai-Kyung Suh, the first Korean winner of the Busoni International Piano Competition (1980), returns to Carnegie Hall for the inaugural recital of her annual series. 낭만의 마에스트라 서혜경 — 1980년 부조니 국제 콩쿠르 한국인 최초 우승자 — 가 매년 이어질 카네기홀 독주회 시리즈의 원년 피아노 독주회로 무대에 섭니다.

Pianist Hai-Kyung Suh has won acclaim across four continents for her signature playing style, deeply rooted in the Russian Romantic tradition. Maestra Hai-Kyung Suh emerged on the world stage in 1980, becoming the first Korean to win the Busoni International Piano Competition. The 1985 William Petschek Award winner from The Juilliard School made her American debut at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, and in 1988, at age 28, co-hosted the Carnegie Hall Steinway 135th Anniversary Benefit Gala with David Dubal. 서혜경은 1980년 부조니 국제 콩쿨에서 한국인 최초로 우승하며 세계 무대에 등장한 피아니스트입니다. 1985년 줄리아드 William Petschek Award 수상자로 Lincoln Center Alice Tully Hall에서 미국 데뷔 후, 1988년 28세에 Carnegie Hall Steinway 135주년 기념 자선 갈라에 David Dubal과 함께 공동 진행자로 무대에 섰습니다.

She recorded the complete Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky concertos in Russia and released albums on Deutsche Grammophon, performing alongside Charles Dutoit, Riccardo Muti, and Ivan Fischer.
